History of some Romanian word of Old Bulgarian origin
Abstract: The article represents the semantic development and phonetic changes of the words: mândru, poftă and a pofti, vorbă. Attention is paid to the derivatives of these words, as well as to their semantic relations. Hypotheses are given related to the way of penetrating of the borrowings in the Romanian language – through direct contacts or through cultural and literary contacts.
